Q. How do I get a password to enter the submit lesson area?
A. If you are a member of ANCSSA you can apply for a password by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

A. Under category choose 'other' - our site administrator will then place it in an appropriate category or make a new one.

Q. What keywords should I use and what is their function?
A. For best results, it's important to choose your keywords wisely, selecting specific words based on the theme of your document. Submit keywords as single words, or as specific phrases followed by a comma.The function of entering keywords gives our database the ability to search files and list resources which contain the string as typed in either the title or keywords field entered during the submission process.
Q. Is there any limit to the amount of keywords I can use?
A. There is no limit to the amount of keywords you can use.
Q. What title should I give my document?
A. Give your document a title that addresses the theme of your lesson plan.
Q. What should I write under short summary?
A. Summarize your lesson plan in no more than 25 words - this short summary will be used as a reference in our database.
Attach a File Guideline
Q. What type of file can I attach for submission to the database?
A. The database will only accept files that are Microsoft Word files (.doc) or Adobe Acrobat portable document formatted files (.pdf).
Q. How do I attach a file?
A. To attach a file click the browse button and search for the file on your computer. Once found click on the file and it will appear in the attach file text field.
Replacing Lesson Plans in the Database File
Q. How do I replace a lesson that already exists in the database?
A. Send an email to the site administrator at email@example.com. Attach your new lesson file to the email stating the title, category and subcategory of the file you would like to replace.
Guidelines for Downloading Lesson Plans
Q. How do I download and save a copy of a Word file to my computer?
A. Select the file you wish to download. After the document appears on your screen, go the the 'file' menu. Select 'save as' a destination directory on your computer and hit 'Save'. The Word document will now be saved 'locally' on your computer for reading and printing at any time.
